Amsterdam Fashion Week-The Green Competition

As promised, I am posting about the shows at AIFW.

I went to the Green Fashion Competition show which offered 25.000 euro for the winner and 15.000 euro as a second price. A competition that underlined the importance of sustainability in fashion and that helps young designers to emerge in this competitive world.

The show was very well done considering all the different concept that were shown.

The designer who opened the show was Winde Rienstra. I was surprised by how very strong geometric shapes can look so elegant.

Menswear for Viral. The quality seems very very good, and I must say I have quite high standard regarding quality.

Elsien Gringhuis is the designer who won the 25.000 euro!

Love the accessories!

Oat is the designer who won the second prize: 15.000 euro for sustainable shoes

 Man Candy ;-)

Next was Gomes Esser Design

Bright Young Things gave quite an elegant twist to green fashion

Last but not least was Non by Kim

All in all it was a really cool green fashion show!
Which one is your favourite? Who did you think should have won the competition?
